Surgery Tomorrow

We leave before the rooster crows tomorrow (5:00am) to get to Children's Hospital for Julianne's centralization surgery. She will be in surgery for 2.5 hours and she will be staying the night so they can watch for any hand swelling under her cast. I believe she will wear her hard cast for six weeks and then eventually transition to a brace that she may have to wear 24/7 for quite some time. So prayers would be appreciated as you wake tomorrow morning. We'll keep you all posted.

Good luck to you. We will say some prayers tomorrow. We'll actually be at Children's too. We have an 8:00 appointment with the cranial facial team. We will be discussing our plans for Jack's surgery. We seem to be on the same hospital schedule. Shannon

Morning guys - Marie told me she saw you during the pre-surgery testing yesterday - just wanted to let you know 1) How she raved about Julianne! 2) How envious I am that she got to meet her! 3) That we are praying for you guys as we speak and 4) If there is anything at all you need while you are in the hospital just call - I can be there in 15 minutes from anywhere I'm going to be the next couple days!

hugs - aus and co.

Wishing you all the best as your daughter goes through surgery. I can not imagine how hard it must be for Julianne, but also for mama and baba. As you nurse your dear little one back to health, don't forget to take of yourselves as well.
Hugs
Sue

Will be praying for sweet Julianne and you as you let her go in the hands of the surgeons, that is always hard. Praying for successful surgery and quick healing with little discomfort!
